I just recorded a guitar track and I cannot figure out how to fade the part in and then out at the end of the track. How do I fade in or fade out on a recorded track in Studio One Artist? I double clicked on the track and then there is a down arrow "actions". In "actions" there are lots of editing tools in this area. One of which saus "fade in to cursor". Most of these options don't appear to work for whatever reason.

There is also something called "audio bend". Not sure what that is either.

On my old digital recorder, I could easily select an area of a track and fade the volume in for a certain recorded part. I am really hoping that Studio One Artist has this capability.

Thanks!

On either the specific guitar track, or on the main fader, right click the fader and select "Edit Volume Automation". That will open a volume envelope, and you can draw in the fader from there. Using the arrow tool, you can click a point for the fade to be at full volume, then click another point where the fade will start/end and drag the line up or down (fade in/fade out). Then between the 2 points you will see a dote that will let you design the curve of the fade.

See Automation in the manual for more detailed information.
