I have a quantum, studio 192 and dp88 and I am using quantum as master and slaving dp88 to the first bank of adat 1-8 and studio 192 via second band 9-18.

In quantum Uc surface dp88 could be controlled directly but studio 192 is no controllable, have to use the hardware to set pres. It would be great to be able to let uc recognize studio 192 as extra set of pres and able to control them directly.  it should be resonance to do so and it would be a great plus for owners who have studio 192 and upgraded to quantum. I mean since they are all presonus devices, so why not?

Definitely fair to want to use previous equipment with new gear and expand things, but different gear is different gear.  The Studio 192 is a USB audio device and is not intended to have "stand alone" functionality.  The Quantum is a ThunderBolt device of course.  They are not designed to be used together.

You should consider using 2 DP88s with your Quantum.  This would be the most ideal setup.  If you ever need more I/O, you can get a second Quantum and additional DP88s.  This is how they are designed to expand.
