A few weeks ago, I made the decision to adopt Studio One 4 as my main DAW. Everything was going great until tonight. I am using an NI Komplete Kontrol S61 as my main keyboard controller for the DAW, and that is working fine. I have many Kontakt libraries that default to having their key switches set between MIDI C0 and MIDI B1. Since those two octaves are not available on a 61-note controller with Middle C set in the center, I decided that I would use a Korg NanoKey Studio that I had lying around, just to access the two lowest octaves. When I plug in the USB for the Nanokey, it seems to be recognized by S1. However, when I press a key, nothing gets sent. Is there something about S1 that doesn't allow two simultaneous keyboards to input to it. In both Cakewalk by Bandlab (as well as Sonar Pro Platinum) and Mixcraft 8, both keyboards work simultaneously. I find it odd that this won't work in Studio One, so I feel I must be doing something incorrectly (yes, I know how to set up a keyboard controller in S1).
Thanks in advance!
