Question

Not using a console mixer. I have not seen any diagrams with just a PC/Studio One and a 32R.

There is no difference between the consoles and the rack mixers, with the exception of the 16R, which is a single-core mixer and NOT a 32-channel mixer. The only functional difference is that the rack mixers have no DAW Mode. PreSonus recommends USB recording (34 tracks possible), but AVB recording is also possible with Macs, if there is no other equipment involved.
