I installed Studio One Artist on a Mac laptop years ago, when I bought my Firestudio. It worked fine. I was prompted to update it a couple times. Ok, cool. I have been using Studio One 2 now for a long time. Then today, out of the blue, I open it, and it tells me the "activation" for this computer in no longer valid. Umm, hello... I have only ever used it on this computer. I poked at it some more and realized that Studio One 4 was available and it didn't cost me anything to upgrade, so I did. I also thought, maybe this was the software's way of telling me to get version 4? Now I have both versions on my laptop. I noticed version 4 has some new features associated with it that will take me a little time to get used to, but in the meantime - I WANT MY STUDIO ONE 2 ACCESS BACK. What the heck happened? I've tried to reactivate it using the product key on my CD, but that yields error messages.
