Question

My audio interfaces are an RME Multiface II and an RME Digiface. They use the same ASIO driver and appear together as one interface in DAWs. Together they provide 44 channels of I/O (18 on one and 24 on the other). In Studio One, the Audio I/O Setup dialog only shows the first 32 of these. They may not include all of the ones I want to use.

(1) Am I correct that this is a limitation of Studio One?

(2) Is there any way I can choose which 32 of the possible 44 channels are accessible in Audio I/O Setup?

1. No, but 128 tracks or so are no fun anymore...

2. Not sure what you mean. You use an I/O matrix for each song, which by default is patched 1:1 (channel 1 -> track 1 -> channel 1), but you can change any settings and based on that you can select input source and output destination for each track in Studio One.

This is for Pro and Artist, no idea if Prime has the matrix.
