When writing and editing choral arrangements, the low playback note for the alto chorus is G3 (G below middle C). Any self-respecting alto over the age of 15 can easily produce that note, and lower. I send part-forward mixes to the choir along with the written parts for reference and to aid in rehearsal, but the notes written below G3 do not sound. Does not work to have tenor take over on playback. If I could extend the low end of the playback range to F#, F, and the occasional E, it would be most helpful.
