Over time I've learned quite a bit about audio and recording but am still sometimes unsure. I have been recording my Fender, through an effect pedal chain, right into the AudioBoxUSB with no problems.
If I want to record my hardware synthesizer (Microbrute), whose line out goes through the same effect pedal chain and then right to the AudioBoxUSB, will those levels be incompatible? I've done it before but do not want to continue doing it if it may damage my AudioBox.
I ask this now because I have a Guitar Center gift card and wanted to get another pedal or virtual synth, but may opt for the Direct Box if I need one to properly record my synth through a pedal chain.
