Hello and thank you all in advance for any help you can offer. I'm trying to create a singing keyboard (or true vocoder) effect for one of my songs. I've seen the product "Manipulator" do exactly what I need to be done on several different YouTube videos. Supposedly, it works with Studio one as well, but after purchasing it, I can't for the life of me get it to work. Several YouTube videos accomplish this with the use of a sidechain button that appears on top right hand corner of their version of Manipulator.  ... The version I have has no sidechain button on it (or at least, one has not appeared as of yet).

Still I've been told by others that what I seek to accomplish  (a singing keyboard) IS possible on Studio One with Manipulator, but so far, nobody has been able to provide a step by step instruction on how to do this on Studio One.

Now I HAVE been able to get Manipulator to do nice harmony, which is triggered by a vocal track, but when ever I switch to an instrument, I get an error message.

Furthermore, the instruction manual for Manipulator covers many DAWs but not Studio One. I've gone to the support page of Polyverse/Manipulator and on three separate occasions asked for help, and every time I've received the same canned auto response saying that somebody will contact me soon, and soon passed over a week ago and no help yet. The demo of Manipulator is free, if anyone would like to try and help me figure this out. I will say that aside from not getting it to do what I want it to do, it's an amazing plugin. ... lol

I thank you all once again, and have a blessed day,
