Question

I have a Gen 1 16.4.2 console that has suddenly had a problem.  It worked fine the last time I used it about 3 months ago and has been in protected storage.  The console locks up after about an hour and a half.  Originally thought bad power, dropping the voltage to just below the digital needs, but tested at home and does the same thing.

Just had music playing through one of the channels and played fine then stopped.  

- press input button, no input.

-no ouput levels

-encoders work, channel select, FAT channel, system & FX functions, etc work

I just have no input/output capability.  shut down & restart, works for a bit & does it again, no specific amount of time.

Firmware version 1.50a

build 184

update:  after restarting the console, no input/output after 30 minutes.  when I restarted the first time, the GR meter was full on red and would not boot up.  Rebooted again, took only 8 minutes to stop input/output.  again, all other functions work.  Possible power supply?  I am knowledgeable in circuit diagnostic and repair, so if need be I will take a stab at it.  I have an event in early March so I will need this up and running or replaced ASAP.  Thank you again in advance.
