Hello, my brand new Faderport v2 have an erratic, jumping issue of the central encoder.

As I read on internet the v1 had this issue too.

Where come the problem, software or hardware ?

I'm on latest win10 pro, and latest studio one pro.

I think the hardware dying quikly I will try to return it, and see what happen with a new FP

Same problem here. Bought it just two months ago brand new.

Same problem. It seems Presonus doesn’t think about this issue yet. Bought it in 2020 February . Now it’s 2021 may.

Yes they know the hardware sucks but presonus do nothing, now my faderport sleep in his box forever.

I've bought an atom and i've the same problem with encoders, these hardware controler sucks a lot, I never bought presonus controler again

hi everyone,

Just wanted to share a fix for this in case anyone has the same problem.

Very easy. I took off the master encoder and sprayed it with electrical contact cleaner.

I used the WD-40 brand cleaner (quick drying).
