Question

Any tips for programming patterns in Impact XT in 6/8 time? It seems like it REALLY wants to be in 4/4. The song is already set up in 6/8.

If you create an empty clip on the Impact XT track then edit it in drum mode, switch the quantize view to 1/64.  It will make it clear that you are in 6/8 time and where the quarter notes divisions are in the measure.  You can then easily draw in the pattern you want.
