Can you please share what input levels you get from a guitar pickup or a dynamic microphone and what is your input gain control knob position?
My Audiobox iTwo is working perfectly except that the input levels seem too low (I need to use very high gain for an electric and acoustic guitar and dynamic mics are practically unusable). I would also like to validate a couple of things I understood from the manual:
- There is a different preamp connection to the XLR input and the TRS input (ΒΌ-inch connector) respectively (with XLR getting more gain).
- The TRS input preamp is only engaged when the Input Source Button (labelled with the guitar icon) is pressed. (Pressing this button makes no change in the input level for me so I have a suspicion that my preamp is not working correctly).
EDIT: The answer for the question one is YES. So if you want to use a mic you need an XLR to XLR cable.
