My newly unboxed MS V2 works great except the Main Vu-Meter doesn't indicate anything after the initializing start up, regardless of the input level. That is to say, I can have the output volume at ear-splitting levels but the Vu-Meter doesn't indicate anything . All other functions are seemingly normal except I am getting a buzz (sounds like 60 Hz.) from one set of monitors when connected to the MS V2 that I don't get when running directly from my AudioBox iTwo to those same monitors. That buzz is on outputs A , B, and C of the MS V2. I have ordered a power line conditioner just for exercise of crossing all my T's but I was wondering if anyone had this happen. I did try to reset the Vu-Meter to the +4dBu, +10dBu and +18dBu as prescribed in the manual with no joy.

Pertinent system detail.

iMac 2011 running EL Capitan 10.11.6

AudioBox iTwo connected via USB into

Presonus Monitor Station V2  (via TRS cable)

Input -  at this point only one (from the AudioBox) via TRS

                Outputs:

2 sets of speakers connected via TRS

                            Persons Eris 3.5 (Speaker A)

                           M-AUdio BX-8  (Speaker B)

Also when trying to register this unit the response from the system was. that number is not valid.

I can provide the SN upon request.

I have the exact same issue with the meter not working at all. Did you find a fix?

I had the same issue. Out of warranty so had to send it into repairs. $120.  turnaround was a efficient (less than 2 weeks?) But they never said what the issue was. Probably just some burnt out transistor. Never thought to open it up to take a look, usually my SOP.
