When the FireBox is not synced to a computer (red sync light), its inputs should route as follows: Preamp 1 routes directly to Line Out 1 and headphone left Preamp 2 routes directly to Line Out 2 and headphone right Line In 3 routes directly to Line Out 1 and headphone left Line In 4 routes directly to Line Out 2 and headphone right.
The following inputs, outputs have NO standalone functionality:
· S/PDIF In left and right have no standalone functionality
· S/PDIF Out left and right have no standalone functionality
· Analogue Outputs 3 through 6 have no standalone functionality
