I have a firewire card installed to run both firewire interfaces and the motherboard has 2 thunderbolt 3 connections the firewire interfaces have no issues , id like to make the upgrade to thunder bolt 3 with a new presonus interface in the near future but hopeful I can still use both firewire interfaces. The computer is newly built and fully thunderbolt 3 ready

Not in Windows.

Studio one can only see one interface at a time for a song project.

That said UC for the firewire v1. 7x can run at the same time as the New UC 3x that the Quantum uses.

You can sync the FW interfaces via spdif and out the via spdif into the Quantum..

this would give you a stereo mix of all the FW inputs, or you could record each input at a time via spdif.

I have a firestudio project linked with two FS Mobiles and the Quantum. Using the FS as digital mixers in UC and piping the audio via spdif..

I haven't tried a project where I record some tracks with the Quantum then change the audio setting to the Firestudio and record tracks from there.. depends how much you need to record multiple tracks in one take.

My mostly midi setup allows me to record multiple take and switch between inputs.. a patch bay Is handy for this.
