I think that event name(s) should appear at the left edge of the arrange window, not just at the left edge of the event. When zoomed in you can't tell the name of the Event. You might get some help from the track name, but quite often they are not the same (especially when comping). The same request obviously goes for layers.
I realize that the to-do-list is very long for the developers, but I think this is a very easy fix. The result would probably go unnoticed if not pointed out, but when missing it is a bit crippling. All for the sake of GUI clarity.
P.S. Other major DAW's does this in a few different ways (not PT). The main point is that the Event/Part/Region name should always be visible D.S.
