At present when a record event is created with a virtual instrument the event is labeled with the name of the Instrument. For example an event created using Presence is only ever labeled Presence. It would be great if it was labeled as [Instrument Name]-[Path Name]
This could be used as a better default or optional via the right-click menu on an event or track to apply the patch name. I often bounce a single event and move it to a single track with other events so long as they need the same treatment in the mix and do not conflict.
I believe the patch name is now available in the VST 3 model as per my understanding of the interface standards from Steinberg.
