Anyone using a usb mic like the elgato wavelink 3?
Studio One 5 doesnt seem to recognize it when I connect it.  Is there a certain setting to use USB mics?

Hello,

You can achieve this if you're using VoiceMeeter Banana. For some reason Studio One does not see the Wave Link software as a device.

I am working on a video that shows you how to do this. It should be up this week. If you search for "fidget jones" on YouTube that is the channel I'll post it to. Its a new channel. Or you can email me at [email protected] and I'll send you the link once it's posted.

S1 doesn't recognize the Wave 3 or the Wavelink software.  I managed to get mine to work with S1 on a PC using Windows 10.  I'm sure the details can be extrapolated and used with Mac.  Make sure you set up the Elgato Wave 3 as your System Output and Input device.

Here's how I got mine to work:
Open Studio One and go to Studio One - Options - Audio Device - Windows Audio (or whatever a mac says for the default system audio)
Then go to the Control Panel right next to where you selected your Audio Device.

Look at "Playback Device and set it to Headphones (3 - Elgato Wave:3).

Then go to Recording Devices underneath and select Mic In (3-Elgato Wave:3).

If you do this you should be able to record away with the Elgato Wave 3 in Studio One.

I hope this works for you.
