Hi. I just subscribed to a month of Sphere just to try it out first. It's awesome. Now I want to move to a yearly plan after my month ends. How do I do that? I noticed that there is a "Cancel Membership" button on the plan tab on my account page. Does transferring to a yearly plan as easy as canceling my membership right before my monthly plan ends and then just acquiring another membership but this time a yearly plan? :)

Great question!

You'd have to cancel your monthly subscription, let the grace period expire.

Then go purchase the annual membership.

Make sure you download whatever is stored in your cloud storage beforehand and re-upload with your new subscription.

Hi Alex, thanks for answering. Just need one thing clear though. When you say "let the grace period expire" are you pertaining to the 90 day grace period for new version 4 registrations? which I don't qualify for (that's the only thing I could google).

Cause I was thinking of purchasing the annual membership right after canceling. Or do you have another grace period for upgrading Sphere plans.

I hope it's not too long since I use Studio One everyday for work and I would like to apply version 5's new features in whatever I'm working on at the moment.  :)

The grace period they are talking about is 7 days, which is if you don't pay the subscription when due you get 7 days to pay before they wipe everything from storage.
