Question

If i have a loop and there is a hit sound in the loop i want to cut and time stretch that individual bit, i have to bounce it to a new track and then cut the tail and nose it created to fill a bar or section.

You should be able to right click the clip and select 'make unique'

Had the same problem. Just Bouncing (cmd+b) did not work. You have to turn snap to grid (n) off and bounce it again. That makes it unique. I don´t know why. But worked for me.
