Question

Hi,

I searched far and wide for an answer to this, but I couldn't find one. I'm still pretty new at S1 (coming from Reaper). I'm looking for a way to extend or drag the end of an event (audio or midi) without having to position the mouse on the end of the event and click and drag.

Does anyone know of a way to do this with keyboard commands/macros?

The commands to achieve this are :

Extend by Grid 

Shorten by Grid 

which as the name suggests, shortens/extends the selected event length by the grid quantization length. 

BTW, there are also similar commands for midi notes :

Extend Notes by Grid 

Shorten Notes by Grid 

Though I am not sure if these commands are natively present in S1 or are included in Navigation Essentials script.
