Question

Hi, I would REALLY like to be able to map the Surface Dial as a MIDI controller, for things like riding a fader, writing parameter automation, and as a scrub wheel.  It's a good piece of hardware that would be handy for mixing on the go, and also is a much nicer and finer control knob than the tiny knobs on many cheaper MIDI controllers.
