Why isn't the help viewer independent of the program, so both can be used concurrently?

It would be nice to be able to read through the manual with the help viewer and make adjustments to the program at the same time. Can this be done?

I downloaded the manual (from here https://www.presonus.com/products/Studio-One/downloads) and then I open it in Acrobat Reader.

You can download a separate instruction manual, however, the built in help is contextual and jumps to the appropriate chapter for your situation.  Still, if you want a manual, there is a PDF version on the net or Presonus.com.
