It is common knowledge that microphone 'Spill' can either help enhance, or detract from the enjoyment of listening to a recording.

However, adding Mic Spill to CTC-1 would seem to be a next logical step in the development of that Master/Bus plugin.

While Cross Talk serves to introduce 'spill' from adjoining console channels - routing tracks through Mic Spill might offer additional creative expression in the mix, further helping to bring session cohesion to otherwise individually recorded tracks.

Adding global Room Ambience may be another feature to consider for Mic Spill with CTC-1.

I mention mic spill and room ambience specifically, after listening to audio stems downloaded from 'Mix The Music.'

There's quite a bit of mic spill in the original recordings and those very same production 'mistakes' may have actually helped 'shape' the classic sound of many vintage records.

So if your producer is going for a more 'authentic' vintage mix, it would seem to make sense to also include sonic 'features' that contributed to successful audio productions of a bygone era - such as mic spill and room ambience, to name but two.
