Question

I just bought Studio One 5.   I only use the simple 8 track recording mode for sketching out songs.

I have it set up and am at the point where I can record tracks.  However, there seems to be an echo or delay already which I DO NOT WANT.  I use my own outboard effects....an old Pod for guitar and a vocal processor for vocals.  I need to take the preset echo OFF!

How do I do that??????

Looks like you have a loop in your signal. SO does not set up an effect on its own ...

Check your signal path.
