Question

Hi, I can't figure out how to get my Nord Electro keyboard to appear within Presonus.  I have the Nord routed via phono plug cable to a Tascam US-2x2, and the Tascam going into my computer via a USB cable.  I don't want to mess with midi yet, I just want to be able to push "record" in presonus and play my nord onto a track.  But I can't figure out how, and giving up for today.  Any advice for a novice?

You won't get the keyboard to "appear as a device" when connecting via Phono to your audio box.  To make it available as a device that controls virtual instruments then you need to set up midi.
