Question

I am certainly using the daw as an mixing board, at work we use wave sound grid, is it possible to set up the daw to change effects for different parts of the show as if sound grid was on time code and changing the snapshot?

Hi.  There is a show page feature added to Version 5 released earlier this year.  If you check out youtube for the video on the song page as that might fit your bill.  It does mean an upgrade but owners of V4 pro can get a discounted upgrade.  There is the Sphere (rental/membership model) or a standard perpetual licence.
