I have a Sony FDR AX-33 video camera with built-in mic that we use for our church service livestreaming/recording and use presonus studio live 16.4.2 for our sound/audio. I use OBS for livestreaming & recording. I use the built in mic of the camera for livestreaming/recording and we can hear all the surrounding sound aside from the pastor. I did some testing on how to isolate the audio of the pastor. First, I connected an external mic w/ 3.5mm jack to the camera to test it and recorded a video. The audio is good and no more sounds coming from the surroundings. Second, since we have the presonus studio live, I want to use this to capture just the voice of the pastor on my livestreaming/recordings. So I connected one of the auxes (I used aux 1) in studio live to the camera with 1/4 jack to 3.5mm jack cable and used one of the mics connected to studiol live then I made a video. The recorded video came out with the my voice but static/humming sound. The loudness of static/humming was almost the same level as my voice. How can I get rid of the static/humming sound? Or what outlet on presonus is better to use to connect my video camera? Thanks for your help.

You are best to use a computer running OBS and run the camera and mixer audio into the software. It will increase the quality of the stream.
