Question

I have purchased and registered my Studio One 5 ARTIST program and want to install 3rd party plug-ins.

PreSonus is claiming that I do not have a product that is compatible with the AUDIO BATCH CONVERTER (which, from all of my internet searches I've concluded: converts said plug-ins into readable files). It will not let me purchase this add-on despite the well-known fact that I need it with the artist version in order to add plug-ins.

This is absolutely ridiculous and frustrating - the amount of effort I needed to put into simply finding out what to do is insane. Now this roadblock? ******.

Please let me know if there is any way I can get this add-on or if there is a way to install plug-ins without this absurd hassle. Thank you

Hello.  Please refer to this page, comparing versions.  You will see that 3rd party plugins are already supported in the Artist version5. ### https://www.presonus.com/products/studio-one/compare-versions.  ####Artist Version 5 does not require the purchase of add-ons to run VST/AU/ReWire plugins.  You just need to let Studio One know where the plugins are.  E.g.  vst 3 files will be installed into a folder.  The manual has detailed instructions on setting up plugin folders#############


You seem to misinterpret what the audio batch converter is for.  It is not for converting plugins.  The Audio Batch Converter is an extension for Studio One Professional, to batch convert audio files from one format to another.  E.g. Taking 35 WAV files and converting them to MP3 or similar in one operation.
