Question

I am using EastWest's Hollywood Backup Singers and Symphonic Choirs to record some vocal parts with the word builder.  Whant I play the notes I want without recording, it sounds the way it should, but when I write in midi notation with a mouse or use a keyboard to record the notation, it cuts off the second syllable like the aftertouch is delayed or something.  Any ideas?

Hi.  I had a similar issue recently.  Check your external instrument options for the keyboard you are using.  When presented with the midi channels option, you should see some filters below with check boxes.  Make sure you don't have the aftertouch filter option selected.  This will cause notes to end prematurely.
