HI guys,
So i'm looking for some help here for the audio section of studio one. I bought a Berhinger Q1202USB to use for podcast production here in our little studio. I can get it to load up into studio one without any issues and i can record with it which is great. But the problem i'm facing here is I have 2 microphones, so naturally i plugged one into each port on the mixer, and i can see inside of studio one that theres a USB codec 1 and a usb codec 2, but it will not let me get individual sound out of it. I have played and tinkered as much as my small mind can possibly do here and can't seem to get it to where i can record each microphone individually. Do i need to actually purchase an interface or is there a way to make this work how i want it to? My thought behind the mixer and it being usb is that i could have 4 individual ports for anything i could possibly want to do, from podcast production, to music. But it appears i may not be able to do that. Thanks in advance for anything you're able to help me with here.
