i would like to use the spdif in of the firestudio project. I have a laptop with a soundblaster audigy 2zs pcmcia card. it has toslink out. i purchased the correct cables and a toslink to coax converter. The toslink cable goes into the converter the the coax cable (75 ohms) which then goes to the firestudio project spdif in. Universal control shows channes 9/10 assigned to spdif out of the box. I get no signal here and no indication that anything special software wise needs to be set on either end.
