I agree with you 100 percent. Someone who actually knows the product and knows how to make understandable videos needs to begin creating instructional videos for Notion. Using it seems to be a "sink or swim" situation in which the user is pretty much left to figure out how to use the program his/herself. The videos already out on YouTube are awful. They either are poorly made or assume the user already has working knowledge of the product (or both). It's so frustraiting! Presonus took over the Notion 6 product so (in my view) owes it to their customers to provide better training. It's especially important, as nobody (in my opinion) would consider Notion to be "intuitive".
I've noticed music score editing software in general is poorly documented. I've been toying with the idea of buying "Smartscore" but am running into the same issue... That is, there simply seems to be almost no quality instructional videos out there, either from the manufacturer or from independent video producers. What is it about music score editing software that discourages video producers from creating content?
