I am trying to use my Roland KT-9 trigger pedal to trigger the kick drum in Superior Drummer in Studio One. I first tried to pug it into the sustain and expression port on my Komplete Kontrol S49 keyboard but I cannot find a way to assign the pedal to a number in the key board.
My second option was to use my Roland SPD-SX drum pad with the Kt-9 pedal plugged into the trigger port but I cannot get Studio One to recognize the SPD-SX as a device, Roland is not an option of recognized manufactures and it didn’t work when I tried to add it as a keyboard or controller.
If anyone has this kind of set up and can guide me through how to set it up that would be much appreciated.
