I am building a dedicated Studio One computer.  I was planning on a 250Gb boot drive to hold the OS (windows 10 hme) and the complete install of Studio One with all the sound sets, etc.  But I have a 2Tb drive for my working space.

Is 250Gb enough?

i don't recommend it. i have 250 gb (usable 238 GB) and had to remove everything what is possible. windows needs 60gb for updates, all apps are saving data on C drive instead of the defined directory. windows is growing and has special install folder with huge amount of data. i have only 70 gb free now, everything clean, no temp, no waste and all apps are installed on other drives.

If you will have only Studio One and only Audio SW and 2nd HDD/SSD, it should be enough and don't need bigger SSD. Install all apps on the 2nd drive. I have video SW and other apps not only Audio SW. For Audio SW only 250 GB as a boot drive is enough + 2nd drive.
