How much benefit would I see from getting the PreSonus Studio 24C for my new pair of Eris 3.5s?

My friends have bought me a pair of the Eris 3.5s for my 30th birthday. I'm trying to find some information on whether or not I need to get some form of audio interface to get the most out of them. I'm lead to believe there will be a 3.5mm jack to phono lead in the box, but would it be better getting something like the 24C? Or is there a better/alternative set-up?

I currently use a USB Blue Snowball mix, and I don't plan on upgrading this anytime soon.

A part of me feels getting the interface just to run the speakers through is overkill, considering it's for basic music listening at the standard "I want to keep my marriage, also I have a 5 month old daughter" level.

Unsure if it impacts anything, but this is my motherboard that the audio will be output from, I'm assuming?
