New iMacPro running Catalina doesn't recognise new Quantum 4848 in latest UC.

Uninstalled and reinstalled UC many times.   Connection not showing in thunderbolt  through new Apple  T2 cable and adapter.  Not being asked to 'allow' permission when installing UC.

Only red light, iMacPro not even recognising 4848 in thunderbolt hub. Does anyone know if this fact rules out a driver issue?   Surely the Apple TB3-2 adapter and TB2 cable (.5m) can’t be to blame on this Mac.. any thoughts greatly appreciated. Thanks
