I am looking to purchase the Eris 3.5 BT or the 4.5BT, maybe someone who already owns them can answer. I have not been able to find any information regarding the bluetooth module inside these speakers other than that it is 5.0. Does someone know what type of module it is and how good the DAC inside is? Compared to the balanced input with a decent DAC, how good does the BT sound? Is it close or is it terrible? Is it better than connecting the computer with an onboard sound card by jack to RCA cables?

Also is there any hiss or pops on the speakers when the BT is connected? I have the Wharfedale DS2 now and it makes some pops on the bluetooth connection from time to time. Also there is a loud chime when you open the speakers and when it connects to a bluetooth source. Does the Eris do the same? Are there any sounds as it turns on or connects? Are they related to the volume or always loud? Are there any settings for the bluetooth, any app / drivers  to set it up or just connect and that's it?

The PreSonus website states that the bluetooth is capable of memorising two devices but is it a true two point connection, easily switching between the two? Or you need to disconnect one device to connect the other?

Thank you!
