Assuming you have the ACTIVE monitors (powered) you don't need an amp tp drive them. I use these for monitors. There are a couple of things to consider: If you can monitor through headphones and can hear the bass then perhaps you have a need for some acoustic treatments (bass traps). If you can hear the bass through headphones then your mix may be in need of adjustment. I find these speakers to be very well balanced, and I leave the bass and treble adjustments on the back at 12 o'clock. Hope this gives you some things to consider.
