TS cable on TRS inputs of Eris 5 - is there a problem?

The manual says to use the RCA input if the source output is not balanced. However I have good quality TS-TS cables. Is there a problem using them to connect the source (a digital piano) to the monitors, other than losing 6dB of audio level? Distance/cable length is short.

Will work fine, but without sound isolation since not balanced.
