Question

Hi, i want to change the length of excisting notes -> you can see them in the screenshot: f to an half note and add after the Dm chord (half notes) another Dm chord with quarter note length. How can I do this without changing the following notes or rather without making the following to red notes. I already watched so many tutorials, and cant find an answer. This is realy frustating... Thanks for your help!

The reason they're red notes is because you now have 5 beats in a four beat measure. You could change the tied E half-note to a quarter note (which you stated above you don't want to do) or you can make the time signature 5/4 on that measure.
