just reinstalled windows 10 on X64bit Z230 I7 workstation. everything was fine for about 3 days. today, i cannot get studio one 5 to load either USB 24C interfaces that i have. They both worked fine, now they both are unusable in S15... tough to believe that t isnt an issue with the DAW and not the interfaces. also, just before this discovery, the one USB 24C that was connected and usable, began to only supply back to the powered main mackie monitor ...   any fixes or ideas? (ive uninstalled s15 as well as universal control, and have even tried 3 older versions of Universal Control.....and nothing. this is discouraging Please help Presonus! :)   thank you to anyone and everyone regardless. Take care!

When you reinstall Windows it will default to the sound chip built-in to the motherboard.  If you open Device Manager and look at your sound devices you will typically see a Realtek audio device as almost all motherboards use a Realtek audio chip.  You want to permanently disable this Realtek device.  Then, if you have installed the latest Windows drivers for your USB 24C devices and they are showing up in your sound devices in Windows, they will then show up in Studio One.
