Hello! I've been using Studio One for almost a year now, but I still haven't figured out how to solve this one particular issue that really bugs me.

Sometimes I'll be working on whatever in a project, and then suddenly when I go back into a midi pattern, there'll be two layered on top of each other. I can see why this is a feature, but I simply can not figure out how to get rid of it. For some reason I can't import a picture, but if anybody knows what I'm talking about, PLEASE help me out. It's been hindering my production process like crazy.

Thanks in advance!

Elise

Hi there.  You could try right clicking the track on the left and select "unpack layers to tracks".   This should separate your layers to individual tracks whilst keeping each event in place on the timeline.  If you have a single event which has been moved over the end of another event, you could also drag the overlapped event to an empty space below your arrangement.  This will create a new track for your midi performance.
