There is a yellow bar visible in my audio tracks.  I've ignored it for a long time, but now my curiosity has gotten the best of me.

It appears to have something to do with the volume of the audio at that point, but in practical terms, what is that bar for?

Can I do anything with it, or use it to do something?

Thanks!

Looks like u  transformed your midi track to an audio track (right mouse click on the track header and select "transform to audio track"). The yellow line you see is your midi data embedded with your audio waveform. You can quickly go back to a midi track by right mouse click on the track header and select transform to instrument track.

If you do not want midi data imbedded in your audio tracks then try bounce selection or bounce to new track by right mouse click on the event - event - bounce selection or bounce to new track.

it's a great idea S1 adds this, it lets you know you have something on your track that most forget about if they bounce. Same thing if you use Melodyne you know what's been pitched or not.
