Hi,

Does anyone have an idea to map the Akai Midimix to Studio One?

I cannot add a control surface using the MidiMix input port, nothing happens!

Thank you for your help

This is my latest MIDImix config that is working. Faders and Buttons are working. LEDs are working.

Well, I can't get the pasted picture to show.

So I will list.

all are CH1

Top Row Knobs: all CC

25, 28, 31, 34, 46, 50, 54, 58

2nd Row Knobs: all CC

26, 29, 32, 35, 47, 51, 55, 59

3rd Row Knobs: all CC

27, 30, 33, 36, 48, 52, 56, 60

4th Row, Buttons: All Note

16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23

5th Row, Buttons: All Note

8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15

6th Row, Buttons: All Note

0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

7th Row, Faders: All CC

99, 98, 97, 96, 95, 94, 93, 92, 90

Now if I can just get my MIDImix.surface.xml copied here ....

I have been working on this as I have had spare time for about two weeks now.  With the MIDImix editor, I've changed the buttons to CC from NOTE and made sure that there wasn't any CC match in any of the controls.  So far, I've been able to get the mute, solo, rec arm and faders working.  I have ignored the knobs until I can get the LEDs to work.

Unfortunately, I am assuming this going to require me to figure out XML and determine if the button LEDs are independent of the editor assignments (I am thinking that they are).

I was able to install it as an External Device, New Control Surface and get MIDI Learn to work this far in 5.4

Thank you very much for your answer and all these details, unfortunately Sudio One still won't let me add a new instrument or new control surface!

I hope I can get there one day but maybe it's from my High Sierra OS ...

Thanks for taking time to respond to me

I wonder if there is something like a permissions issue writing to the "settings folder" ???
