I purchased and received my PreSonus 68c on Wednesday, February 9th. I followed the instruction and registered the device before attaching it to my PC, installed the Universal Control software per the instructions, and then physically connected the unit to my PC via the USB port.
After connecting it, the Windows Device Manager registered 4 PreSonus devices:
- 1) Main Out 1/2 (Studio 68c)
- 2) Mic/Inst/Line In 1/2 (Studio 68c)
- 3) Mic/Line In 3/4 (Studio 68c)
- 4) Virtual 1/2 (Studio 68c)
Today, Friday, February 11th, my PC no longer displays option # 3) Mic/Line In 3/4 (Studio 68c) which are the ports on the rear of the unit.
I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Universal Control software multiple times, each time following proper Windows protocol regarding reinstallation of devices with hardware drivers and I'm still unable to get the devices on the rear of my PreSonus Studio 68c to show up in my available list of ports to select from.
