Question

Hello! I have been using FL Studio 12 for a while and I can't help but feel that Studio One's piano roll should be simplified. It is clunky and inaccurate compared to FL's. When drawing in notes you can't drag the notes on the piano roll while holding the mouse button down unless you select the arrow tool. Deleting is a simple hold down right click action and sweep in FL. Also, the piano notes aren't labeled. One gripe I had with FL is that its piano roll is labeled but all the notes are labeled as sharp with no option to switch to enharmonic equivalent flats. I think this should be in Studio One as well. Not being able to immediately drag notes means you have to aim the mouse perectly or you have to correct ther notes position with the arrow tool. If you don't do that you just delete the note and try to pin the note in the piano roll again.
