I couldn't find my answer in the documentation notes, so trying here. I want to purchase the MicroStation BT as a Monitor Controller - but have a couple of questions about its connectivity. Basically I'm looking for a simple monitor controller for my Pioneer DDJ1000 controller and Mac computer to my Studio Monitor speakers.

1. setup would be DDJ1000 plugged into TRS in, and Mac computer plugged into Aux in. Question is will I get audio to my Speakers at the same time, or does Aux in override the TRS in like some other passive monitor controllers?

2. Is the power switch on the back just for powering bluetooth? example if its switched off or not powered, is the device passive? Will I still get audio to my speakers from the DDJ1000 and Mac?

I use the MicroStation BT on 2 PC's with 2 soundcards the way you describe without any problems. Please do note that they both have a different input gain. (they respond different to the same signal level). For me that is no problem because both soundcards have a master volume. Both signal are summed without any problems in my case. I believe the device is active overall.
