Stop plugin window from opening when copying sends to other tracks

Hello,

Is it possible to stop Studio One from always opening the plugin window when dragging a send from one track to another? For example, sometimes I just apply an EQ to a track and I want the same EQ applied to a different track, so I really don’t need or want to open the plugin windows for the new send. Does anyone know how to prevent this?

Thanks,

Miguel Barrosa

I agree that this is pretty annoying behavior and it would be great if there was an option to turn it off.

This is a semi answer... I've managed to stop S1 opening an instrument window automatically when start a new instrument track. (Sometimes I want to name and route the instrument channel before I dive in to the interface). Instead of drag and drop, set up a new macro:  'Track: Add Instrument Track' followed by 'Add Instrument to selected track' in the MACRO Organiser. You will get a dropdown for the instrument selection inside the macro editor. Then just add your own macro buttons for your new macros in the macro tool bar, for example 'Add Kontakt', 'Add Battery' etc etc.. There must be a way to add some other such macros for FX...?
